Two peacocks appear to have taken up residence in a neighbourhood in Brentwood.

They were first spotted by Chris Mawsley on Monday who said: "They were sleeping in my garden last night, now they're sunbathing on the roof."

It's not clear where the birds have come from, however the Essex Wildlife Trust says it suspects they have come from a private collection as peacocks are "not wild birds" in the UK.
