‘I’ve got a responsibility and I need to live up to that’
Track and field athlete Tom Bosworth, who came out on this programme as gay last year, has achieved his lifelong dream of qualifying to compete for his country at the Olympics this year.
The 26 year old race walker missed out on representing Team GB by just 19 seconds four years ago in 2012 - but this weekend secured the qualifying time needed for Rio by finishing first in the national trials.
He told Victoria about the reaction to his coming out.
