Bracknell Bees are '99% certain of safety'
Lukas Smital, the head coach of Bracknell Bees and campaigner for the 'Save the Bees' movement, is delighted that the club has secured a license to operate the team for next season, the first step on the way to save the club from folding.
"It was absolutely amazing how much support we got to overcome that first hurdle and apply for a license for next year with the league."
"We are agreeing the license with the owner, approach the league and go from there."
"It's 99% certain we will have a team next season. The league want to know that we are confident we can play next year, which we are."
"We're not going to look at winning the league, but we need to rebuild what has been damaged."
