Polly Swann: 'Sport can be cut-throat sometimes'
Polly Swann, who has been incredibly successful in the Women's 8, on a difficult week for the GB Rowing Team ahead of the world Cup in Lucerne.
"I'm really looking forward to the World Cup - it's a really good opportunity as a new formed crew."
"We can see how we come out at this early stage of the season, and really try and punch our way up by the time we get to Rio."
"Realistically, this is sport, and sport can be cut-throat. Ultimately we need to put together the fastest team with the most medal winning opportunities."
"It's definitely slightly unsettled us as we thought this most likely be the line up for the Olympics, and obviously that's come into question now."
