Nagorno Karabakh: disputed histories
There's probably no better place than a flag-waving event to make a provocative statement about statehood. And that's what the Armenian contestants did at the Eurovision song contest last weekend - waving the flag of the self-declared, ethnically Armenian, Nagorno Karabakh region. Armenia and Azerbaijan have been in bitter dispute over the territory for generations: last month the conflict flared up again leaving dozens of soldiers dead. Rayhan Demytrie reports from neighbouring Georgia and has been to Nagorno Karabakh several times.
