Meet the new Labour mayor of Bristol
Labour's Marvin Rees was elected as the new mayor of Bristol after defeating the incumbent, the independent George Ferguson.
Mr Rees, who joined the Labour Party through Operation Black Vote, told Daily Politics presenter Andrew Neil it was essential to "bring talent through from a wider range of backgrounds".
Asked about Jeremy Corbyn visiting him after his victory at the weekend, Mr Rees said: "Where would you rather be on a sunny day, in Bristol on College Green, or smoky London?"
