Hospital pressure affecting ambulance staff 'morale'
Richard Henderson, the Acting Chief Executive of the East Midlands Ambulance Service, says that pressure at hospitals is affecting his staff's "morale".
EMAS, which covers Northamptonshire has been told it "requires improvement" following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission.
Concerns were raised about the lack of resources including staff and vehicles although inspectors did recognise that EMAS had taken steps to cut response times.
