Police told abuser of upcoming arrest
A man who says he was sexually abused in the 1980s has said police mishandled his case by informing his alleged abuser of his upcoming arrest.
"David", who reported Gordon Dawson to Lincolnshire Police in 2007, says his alleged abuser then killed himself the following day as police also failed to remove his guns despite a warning.
Lincolnshire Police did not comment.
"David" also says he was "fobbed off" by the Met Police, who said the matter remains closed without new information.
