Some bands鈥� commercial success burns like a Meteor in the night sky; fast and bright before fizzling out ; and Richard Green鈥檚 Retro Show features one of those groups this weekend - HAIRCUT 100 !
Nick Heyward, Graham Jones and the rest of the band, produced one of the greatest debut albums of all time with 鈥淧elican West鈥� in 1982.
It featured the hits FANTASTIC DAY, LOVE PLUS ONE and FAVOURITE SHIRTS, but then Nick left, and the band's second album failed to chart.
35 years later, Pelican West is regarded as an 80鈥檚 masterpiece, and Cornwall based GRAHAM JONES from the band joins Richard to run through his memories of that record during this episode.
It鈥檚 an opportunity to make it a 鈥淔antastic Day鈥� with Richard Green鈥檚 Retro Show.
