Tips for widowers
Losing a spouse is something that's a part of life for countless millions of people but how to carry on with life can be hard to figure out and even to talk about. After her husband died very suddenly from a heart attack five years ago, Jan Robinson asked other widows for advice on how to deal with widowhood. She went on to write a book about it, Tips for Widows. Now she's collected advice from men who have been widowed in a new book called Tips from Widowers. Weekend's Paul Henley asked her if the issues bereaved men face were actually that different.
And Gary Marson speaks to the programme about coping with becoming a widower.
