Former steel town: you can't build the Forth Road Bridge out of plastic
Residents of Ravenscraig in North Lanarkshire say there will always be a demand for steel.
The steel works there used to produce nearly a million tons a year - but the plant was shut down in 1992 and the vast cooling towers were blown up four years later.
People living there now regret the loss of the plant - and say steel is a vital part of the economy.
