The first ever Â鶹Éç Three podcast is here
Welcome to the first ThreeCast. Host Reya El Salahi explores the concept of the ‘honour code’ amongst communities in Britain, and the ongoing issue of forced marriage. Following on from the new Â鶹Éç Three drama 'Murdered By My Father’, Reya hears Neda's story. Neda is an Iranian refugee who moved to the UK in the early 1990s with her sisters. But as a teenager, she had to escape from her father and stepmother in order to avoid emotional abuse and a forced marriage. Reya also speaks with women’s rights campaigner Diana Nammi (founder) and Dr Savin Bapir Tardy (psychologist) from IKWRO and Nazir Afzal, former Crown Prosecution Service lead for north west England.
