Former Manchester City winger Dennis Tueart says the club鈥檚 current squad looks "wafer-thin".

Bayner Munich coach Pep Guardiola will take charge of the Premier League side next season regardless of whether they qualify for the Champions League.

City's recent poor run of form has raised questions as to whether the Spaniard has a break clause in the three-year contract he signed should the club fail to finish in the top four and end up in the Europa League.

But Tueart says nobody could have anticipated Manuel Pellegrini鈥檚 team losing so many key players this season:
