EVEL rules a 'turkey' over Sunday trading
Conservative MP Philip Davies said Scottish MPs voting about Sunday trading in England and Wales showed that English Votes for English Laws (EVEL) did not deliver.
He was speaking to Andrew Neil on the Daily Politics after the government was defeated in a House of Commons vote, with some critics claiming that only English and Welsh MPs should have taken part in the vote.
The SNP declined to take part in the programme.
