Cool documentary-style photos hang next to wild experimental colour
Two exhibitions at the Photographers Gallery – New Work in Britain and Californian Colour. Sidonie Goossens reflects on her 50 years as principal harpist with the Â鶹Éç Symphony Orchestra. The London production of One Mo' Time takes audiences back to the life and music of a vaudeville house in 1926 New Orleans. Playwright Wole Soyinka talks about why he has written Aké: the Years of Childhood, about growing up in a Nigerian village, and Edward Blishen reviews the book.
