More and more people are visiting Leicester. The reinterment of Richard the Third a year ago, the Rugby World Cup coming to Leicester, and of course Leicester City's incredible rise to the top of the Premier League has all meant that visitors are flocking to the city. Well that's according to tourism bosses. The Director of Leicester City Centre Sarah Harrison says that 80% of hotel rooms in Leicester are regularly getting filled up and that whilst people used to stay for just a day, they're now extending their visit to 2 or 3 days at a time. We've been asking you in the City what you'd suggest visitors do and see whilst they're here.
Also, Bradgate Park is one of Leicestershire's most scenic places, and is a popular haunt for amateur photographers hoping to get the perfect shot of Old John, Bradgate House ruins, or even the deer. And now, it's hoped that some of those snaps could help raise money for the park. 麻豆社 Radio Leicester's Helen McCarthy is there for us this morning.
And, the future of one of the UK's best-known High Street names, BHS, will be decided today, when its creditors vote on whether to back a rescue deal. Without an agreement, the company may go into administration, putting more than 10-thousand jobs and 167 shops at risk. We hear about your memories of high street stores over the years.
