Gainsborough artwork loaned to Dutch museum
Two Gainsborough portraits and a landscape from Ipswich are heading to the Netherlands.
They'll be on display at the Rijksmuseum Twenthe, as part of the first-ever Gainsborough exhibit to be held in the Netherlands. In exchange, nine landscapes by Dutch artists who are said to have influenced Gainsborough are coming to Suffolk
Thirty paintings are also going from Gainsborough's House in Sudbury.
