'They gave us two choices: Either convert to Islam or die'
When men from so-called Islamic state went into Nadia Murad's village in northern Iraq, they killed all the men - six of her brothers were murdered.
She and hundreds of other Yazidi women were taken to Mosul where they were passed between different groups of men and raped.
Nadia Murad managed to escape but says more than 3,000 are still being held, which is why she spoke to the UN Security Council to try to get the world to do something to help them.
Ms Murad described her ordeal to Sarah Montague for the Â鶹Éç programme Hardtalk.
