Forced Marriage And How To Stop It
Forced marriage is still rife across the globe - why, and what can be done to stop it?
Forced marriage is still a cultural norm in some places - in Honduras, women are abducted, impregnated and abandoned and often end up as sex workers on the border with Mexico. In Sudan, poverty forces families to marry girls off early. A conference in London is looking at the causes of, and possible solutions for, forced marriage.
Also on the programme: Why mothers in Iraq mourn their daughters' lack of freedom. Plus, an interview with Russian composer Yolaina Lanke.
