Facing Down The Numbers
How one woman is brave enough to address the cycle of violence in South African prisons
Folllowing a dramatic crime wave in post-apartheid South Africa, the prisons are now unofficially run by violent male gangs called The Numbers - but a woman, Joanna Thomas, is heading a programme of workshops designed to force men to confront what they've become and address the cycle of violence.
Also on the programme: A look at the Peruvian women who run their own radio station. Plus, how does the ever-youthful Madonna retain her international appeal?
