Minimalist composer Steve Reich discusses the inspiration for Daniel Variations

US composer Steve Reich, now 70, is one of the founders of the minimal movement, constantly pushing the boundaries of music. He talks to the show about his new piece, Daniel Variations, inspired by the murder of a journalist in Pakistan.
