How the US legislation, the African growth and opportunity act (AGOA), is bringing globalisation and jobs to Lesotho, but the work in the clothing factories poorly paid and life is hard.
Also on the programme Hilary Anderson begins by describing how children in northern Uganda seek refugee in towns at night to avoid being kidnapped by the Lord's Resistance Army.
She goes on to describe the stories of children who have escaped captivity, stories of savage brutality, mutilation, forced killings and rape.
