Ancient Olympics - getting ready

The preparations made by athletes and authorities taking part in the ancient olympics. A month before the games began a truce was declared, so athletes and spectators could travel safely to Olympia. Only men were allowed to take part in the games which were held in honour of the Greek god Zeus.
