NASA scientists have observed a series of gamma ray bursts. The phenomena have never been seen before and amount to 20 to 30 bursts per day and timed with the discovery of a pulsar star. Also in the programme celebrating 100 years of mushrooms, a centenary of British Mycological Society. Presenter: Roland Pease.
