Baaba Maal: his family as inspiration
The Senegalese musician Baaba Maal describes how his parents inspired and motivated him. 'What I was trying to achieve in the West was to come back and bring opportunities espcecially to her - so the only way I can pay back to my mum is to write her a song.'
