How Tropicalia's founding musicians ended up in jail
Tropicalia鈥檚 key musicians - Gilberto Gil and Caetano Vesloso - played with fire and paid a high price: the two men were both imprisoned, held without charge and then exiled to London in 1969 by Brazil鈥檚 military regime. Tropicalia didn鈥檛 survive without them.
