'We must find out 'what went wrong' with Cobblers loan, says leader of Northampton Borough Council, Mary Markham.
The authority has agreed the details of an investigation into whether procedures were followed correctly back in 2013 when a 拢10.25m was given to the club.
It'll also look at if the policies in place were robust enough.
The council leader says any lessons learned must be implemented straight away.
