Pearson: Villa won't replicate Leicester escape
Former Leicester boss Nigel Pearson says Aston Villa "don't have what it takes" to replicate the great escape achieved by his Foxes side last season.
Villa currently sit bottom of the Premier League on 11 points, while Pearson's Leicester had 17 at the same stage last season before finishing the campaign with seven wins in their final nine matches.
Pearson was responding to an interview with the Villa chief executive, Tom Fox, who said the football set-up at the club is "fundamentally broken".
"That'll open a can of worms" said the 52-year old. "Villa are in a situation where they need to transform their season and to do that you need everybody in the camp pulling in the same direction."
