The main suspect in the latest propaganda video by so-called Islamic State is thought to be British man Siddhartha Dhar, the 麻豆社 understands. Film-maker Robb Leech, who met Dhar at protests several times since 2013, described him as "good natured" and "very friendly".

Robb Leech made documentary My Brother the Terrorist after his own brother, who had converted to Islam, was convicted in 2013 for preparing acts of terrorism.

Leech met Dhar two months before he left for Syria and said "we were laughing... he was very good natured".

"There must have been some significant experiences he must have had in Syria with ISIS that had made him capable of doing what he did. Because the guy I knew was no more capable of it than you or I, as far as I know," he said.
