Appeal to help Lowestoft boy walk unaided

A family is trying to raise 拢30,000 to help a five-year-old Lowestoft boy walk unaided.

Oliver Whittington has cerebral palsy and has been selected for an operation at Great Ormond Street in London.

But his family will need to stump up thousands of pounds as funding for the procedure is no longer available through the NHS.

They need to raise 拢24,000 by 1 April for the initial surgery, with the remaining money needed for private physiotherapy and specialist equipment.
