Yorkshire: The Sykes Family
Ray and Ann Sykes, from West Yorkshire, are both descended from generations of coal miners, and grew up streets apart from each other. When the mines closed down, they saw the end of one way of life and the gradual emergence of another - but some of the old traditions still endure.
