Cuba鈥檚 plans to get tough on smoking
Cubans love tobacco but it鈥檚 killing them. A third of Cuban men smoke and even though Fidel Castro gave up years ago to set an example, it鈥檚 a habit that鈥檚 proving hard to quit.
There are rules about smoking in public places, but they鈥檙e not always enforced. Coordinator of the National Anti-Smoking Programme, Dr Elba Lorenzo Vasquez tells Claudia Hammond that the anti-smoking regulations will be turned into law, backed up by big fines.
