Lorry shunt driver told police he 'thought he was going to die'
A driver who was shunted by a lorry on the M1 near Northampton told police: "I honestly thought I was going to die."
Northamptonshire Police apologised for communication failures after no-one responded to Matthew Stockdale's 999 call for three hours.
The force has seen the footage and an investigation is under way, but no arrests have been made yet, a spokesman confirmed.
