Martin Parr's Wolverhampton
In 2010 Magnum photographer Martin Parr began to capture the people and places of the Black Country, in a project commissioned by the West Midlands community arts organisation Multistory.
Over the next four years, he visited religious temples and street parties, saw how the locals celebrated the Royal Wedding, tasted traditional herbal tablets at an old fashioned sweet factory, and documented the area's thriving music scene, as well as much more.
Here he talks through a selection of his shots from Wolverhampton.
