Limerick Junction, Co. Tipperary: Free Cups Of Tea On The Way To The Front
Limerick Junction Train Station, located 2 miles outside of Tipperary town, is a busy interchange for rail passengers travelling to different parts of Ireland. During the Great War, local Unionists provided free cups of tea to soldiers changing trains on their way to the front.
