A look at tuberculosis infection rates and a visit to a Gaza rehabilitation centre. TB was declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organisation in 1993 as rates of infection of the disease, which was once nearly eradicated, soared. Healthcare issues, HIV infection and drug resistance are being blamed. Also the programme visits a Gaza centre which helps rehabilitate disabled Palestinians.
