The Pollsmoor Prison Bird Project
Prisoners are given training to handle, breed and raise birds such as grey parrots, cockatiels and love birds at Pollsmoor prison in South Africa. The rehabilitation bird-rearing project gives inmates a practical skill and something to care for.
