Eddie Jones: 'If the RFU came knocking I'd chat to them'
Japan's rugby head coach spoke with Sports Correspondent, Rob Bonnett about the England job and Chris Robshaw.
He said "I haven鈥檛 indicated I want to coach England or desire the job, but certainly if the RFU came knocking on the door I鈥檇 chat to them."
Eddie is not convinced about Chris Robshaw. He said "I just don鈥檛 think he鈥檚 an open side flanker. He鈥檚 an excellent player but the first thing you have to do for the captain is to make sure he鈥檚 going to be in the team. Can he find his place as blind side flanker?"
He also talk about the team spirit of the England team "If you look at English sport, there鈥檚 some general things that England sides are pretty good at in rugby. Then normally they have that bull dog spirit, they have strong set pieces, strong defence and then you build the game around that. I think that鈥檚 probably what鈥檚 been missing from the England sides for the last 12 years really, since 2003."
