Surrey's 拢m tobacco investments
A day after it denounced smoking as "ruining far too many lives", it's that emerged Surrey County Council has invested millions of pounds in tobacco firms.
A Freedom of Information request by the Surrey Mirror has uncovered pension shareholdings in five cigarette companies.
County Hall insists its investment decisions are "completely separate" to its commitment to cut smoking. It's setting up a service to help smokers quit.
