Maritime Archaeology Trust conduct a survey of lost WW1 battleships
Attention is often focussed on the trenches when the first World War is talked about, but there was also a significant war going on at sea. And considerable loss of life as a result.
The Hampshire based Maritime Archaeology Trust have an ongoing project to map the wrecks of the ships that were lost at sea, many of them are in the Solent.
