Adebayor 'has no interest to play' for Togo
Togo coach, Tom Saintfiet has told Sport Today that Emmanuel Adebayor won't be selected again after failing to respond to his latest international call-up.
The striker failed to respond when called upon for an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Djibouti and Saintfiet told John Bennett "a player who doesn't repond to the national team call up has no interest to play".
The Togo coach compared the Tottenham Hotspur striker to "a beautiful lady because Emmanuel Adebayor is a fantastic football player... You can want something but if the other person doesn't want to work with you then it might be better to focus on other players."
For the Togo national team the coach said "there is no time to cry" over Adebayor, "there is time to look forward to find solutions".
