Poole Lifeboat 150
Shelley Jory-Leigh has a special H2O Show recorded at Poole lifeboat station.
Poole is home to the headquarters of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. This year the town is celebrating the 150th anniversary of its own lifeboat station.
Since 1865 Poole lifeboats have been called out more than five thousand times, rescuing more than four thousand people - they've saved more than 800 lives.
To mark their anniversary, Shelley Jory-Leigh has a special H2O Show from the lifeboat station on the quay.
Also this week, she hears about Mudeford sailing club鈥檚 new headquarters and regatta and looks ahead to next month鈥檚 Poole regatta.
Plus we can reveal the results of a recent appeal for a charity boat service.
The Solent is famous for its rich maritime heritage and H2O covers all aspects of life on the water - leisure, business and sport. Whether you're a sailing professional or just like watching the boats go by on the Solent, the programme will have something to appeal to you.
H2O is also available as a podcast.
