In this controversial clip, the presenter Jolyon Rubinstein considers why voters believe politicians as people who fail to keep manifesto promises. The issue of politicians’ alleged lies is illustrated by interviews with an existing MP Zac Goldsmith and firefighters concerns regarding service cuts. In particular, the promise of Nick Clegg on student fees is a focal point. Footage of protests and archive of politicians are used.
