Spike Milligan on his cinema debut
Spike Milligan tells Robert Robinson about being signed by MGM for his first feature film, Invasion Quartet. Milligan admits he gets more satisfaction as a writer than an actor, but says he still has to prove himself on screen. The interview, first broadcast on Picture Parade on 10 May 1960, is conducted in typical irreverent Spike fashion as he rolls around the studio on his chair throughout.
