John Plenderleith鈥檚 Story

John Plenderleith, aged 90, is from Ramsbury

John had turned 20 just days before VE Day. He was an enlisted wireless operator with Bomber Command at RAF Wickenby in Lincolnshire.

As an air gunner he was flying on Lancaster bombers as part of a vital mission鈥�
