Bad Wurzach - Final farewells
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi internment camp in Bad Wurzach, Southern Germany. In 1942, 618 civilians from Jersey were deported there. For three years they lived in cramped conditions, with minimal food provisions, not knowing if they would ever see home again. 13 internees returned to the camp, and 麻豆社 Radio Jersey's Olivia Le Poidevin join them. In this episode she gives a summary of their trip and explores the 'Schloss' where they were interned.
