Soul Singer Ben E King dies aged 76
Ben E King - who was best known for his 1960s hit Stand By Me - has died.
The soul singer and songwriter rose to fame in the 1950s, writing and performing with The Drifters. But it was as a solo artist that he penned what was to become his signature tune and one of the most successful songs ever recorded.
