Spurred on by a 19-0 defeat
The draw's been made for the second round of World Cup qualifying in Asia - it's the stage at which the continent's biggest teams enter the fray and gets underway in June 2015.
Gary White, the coach of footballing minnows Guam, believes that being on the wrong end of a 19-0 scoreline against Iran back in 2000 has spurred them into action and has helped their development. He says Guam are now aiming to come 2nd in their qualifying group.
White hopes heavy defeats in the in the World Cup qualifying rounds for other countries could have a similarly positive effect.
He was speaking to World Football's Mani Djazmi.
