24 year old Amy Kincaid, from Oban, beat applicants from all over the world to take charge of the world鈥檚 most southerly post office, on a remote island in Antarctica. Sharing a bedroom with the three other humans on the penguin-inhabited island of Port Lockroy.

She tells Shereen how she learned to live a life of isolation, with none of the trappings of the modern world.
