Iain Duncan Smith: No decision made on benefits cuts

"Spending more money does not necessarily mean improved lives," says Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith on the Andrew Marr Show.

"They [the public] know for certain that we are going to save that [promised] 拢12bn."

"Reform of welfare is necessary," he continues, but he declines to say how cuts will be specifically made.

"I haven't made decisions," he states, adding: "I know that it is feasible to save 拢12bn... We believe the economy would benefit from that."
